How To Use

  1. Please input your name in Roman letters (alphabet). The accent marks (é, ñ, ü etc.) can also be used.
  2. Press "Make Into Katakana", then the candidates of katakana are displayed for each word. When you know the language of your name, please choose it in "Language" for more accuracy.
  3. Choose the notation and the "Characters to put on the seal", and the seal is completed. You can also choose the kind of seal and the typeface.
  4. Save it as an image by "Save As PNG Image", or open a PDF and stamp it.

Example: Michael is generally written マイケル in English, and ミヒャエル in German.

※There are other ways to write foreign names in katakana than the ones shown here. If your name is written in katakana on an official document such as the residence card, please use that notation.
